Discussion

Many of the basic building blocks of life can be arranged in two different ways that are like your left and right hands. They each mirror the other, but no matter which way you rotate them over the top of each other will they look the same. It has been curious that for many such building blocks all life on earth uses the same arrangement. This research demonstrates the possibility that this is because the original source of such building blocks (before life began) could have originated from meteorites.
